How it Started
Topline Pro was born from a simple yet powerful realization: service-based small businesses--the roofers, landscapers, painters, and cleaners who keep their communities running--were being left behind by the digital revolution.
Nick and Shannon first started a company called Dwelling that virtually connected homeowners to service pros to solve home maintenance needs. From that experience, they saw an industry where hardworking entrepreneurs didn't have software built for them.
So Nick and Shannon co-founded Topline Pro to fix that. They set out to empower service-based SMBs to thrive through Al that gets sh*t done.
Today, Topline Pro is helping thousands of home service pros get found, get chosen, and grow—all without needing to be tech experts. But it all started with one problem and two co-founders committed to building the right solution.

Before becoming Topline Pro, Nick and Shannon built Dwelling Management. The platform provided tools for organizing home maintenance tasks, connecting with trusted service pros, and staying ahead of repairs. This early venture laid the groundwork for their deep understanding of homeowner needs and contractor relationships.

Building on what ProPhone started, offering an AI-powered platform that helps pros get discovered, trusted, and booked online. It combines everything from websites to customer messaging, reviews, and payments—built to save time and grow their business.

As they spoke with more contractors, Nick and Shannon realized pros needed better tools to grow their own businesses, not just connect with homeowners. That insight led to ProPhone, a mobile-first platform that helped home service pros get discovered, manage leads, and win more jobs.
